A staple in the Ford lineup for years, the Ford Bronco has been sorely missed by many SUV connoisseurs. That will be changing soon, as there’s a new model coming out soon.
While there are plenty of changes, the 2021 Ford Bronco retains the spirit that made the original a classic.
Power and Performance
There are two engine choices with the Ford Bronco. The base model features a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder engine that generates 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The other option is a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that puts out 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission comes standard, but a seven-speed manual variant is available with the smaller engine.
You’ll get standard four-wheel drive in the 2021 Ford Bronco, but you can opt for all-wheel drive if you want. In addition to great power, acceleration, and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, the off-roading capability of the Ford Bronco is impressive. Available features include long-travel dampers, electronic locking front and rear differentials, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and beadlock-capable wheels.
Tech and Safety Features
Aside from being a rugged vehicle, the Ford Bronco is also tech-savvy. Standard features include Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The user-friendly infotainment system comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, but this can be upgraded to 12 inches as well.
If safety is a big concern with your new vehicle, you’ll appreciate that the 2021 Ford Bronco comes standard with some of the latest features. These include automatic high-beam headlights and parking sensors. You can also get lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert as well.
