The 2020 Ford Explorer has four trim levels: XLT, Limited, ST, and Platinum. It has three engine options including the 2.3-liter four-cylinder, 3.0-liter V6, and the 3.3-liter V6. It also uses a ten-speed automatic transmission. At its best, the ST option can generate up to 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Ford Explorer ever.
The capability continues with the addition of the all-new rear-wheel drive, which improves both performance and towing capacity. This SUV also includes AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ which helps maintain trailer control by selectively braking and adjusting engine power as needed.
