The new Ford SUV lineup for 2023 has been introduced, and though the new models are not available for immediate purchase, they are available for pre-order — also known as a Ford factory order. Pre-ordering your vehicle is beneficial for all future adventures, and at Lester Glenn Ford, we’re happy to help you through the process.
Order Process
The order process for a new Ford SUV will include the following steps:
- The pre-order process begins by contacting the dealership online or over the phone to choose your desired SUV model. Once the model you chose is available, you will be able to select various features.
- The following step will include meeting with a sales team member to choose from options available, color combinations, and trim levels. In addition to selecting your features, you will also go over pricing and financing.
- Your next step is to wait for your vehicle to be built. Building a Ford vehicle can take six to eight weeks, but that time frame can vary. Supply chain issues can also affect the building time frame.
- When your Ford is finished it will be delivered to the Lester Glenn Ford and undergo a Pre-Delivery Inspection by a service technician and can be picked up. Customers also have the option of home-deliver with an additional delivery charge.
Tracking the Order
Before you receive a vehicle identification number (VIN) for the vehicle, we communicate any progress directly. Once you receive the VIN, you can follow your order through the Ford Vehicle Tracking Order interface.
